Things I learned this past weekend...

1. If you surround yourself with good people, you feel good (yes, in theory I've known this but visiting friends this weekend was a nice reminder).

2. It's okay to argue - healthy even - but the way you argue is even more important than the argument itself.

3. If you see a turquoise elephant, you buy it.

Friday

It's been a busy week, but it's finally Friday, so that alone is something to smile about. But here are a few other things I'm liking these days....

Today is my sister's birthday - Happy birthday Soph! I can't wait until Sunday when we can enjoy the nice weather, play Bocce ball, (we are serious bocce ballers) and go out to dinner. Tonight she is having a sleepover with some girl friends.

Happy Monday

Why is it that when you have something really fun to do on the weekend, it seems as if a few extra hours creep into every Monday? ...and perhaps even every day for the rest of the week? Mondays are rarely a "happy" occasion for anyone, but after a good weekend, this one wasn't too bad for me. 

It would be nice to wake up to this tomorrow...
