Monday

Today has been a typical Monday. Plenty of stuff at work to keep me busy, but time seems to be dragging. It's raining. I'm sleepy. And I want to curl up with a good book or a movie. There are a few things getting me through this day...

I just bought these tickets to sail around Manhattan on a vintage sail boat. Summer date night? Check.

I love food. So this food walking tour and tasting seems like it would be fun.

I also discovered the "Living In..." portion of Design Sponge and have been filling the idle time in my day immersing myself in some of my favorite movies. I've also gotten some inspiration for a serious movie marathon - a lot of my favorites have been posted here.

Hopefully, I make it through the rest of the school day with enough motivation to make my evening somewhat productive.

Friday

It's been a busy week, but it's finally Friday, so that alone is something to smile about. But here are a few other things I'm liking these days....

Today is my sister's birthday - Happy birthday Soph! I can't wait until Sunday when we can enjoy the nice weather, play Bocce ball, (we are serious bocce ballers) and go out to dinner. Tonight she is having a sleepover with some girl friends.

Things that are making me happy on this Wednesday....

One more semester of Grad school is almost over, (not worrying about all the work I have to do between now and April 24th).
 
It's almost almost time for weekends in Maine and LBI with friends and family. Beach, camping, boats, road trips....adventure time.
