Spring breakfast

Springtime and breakfast are two of my favorite things, so when Easter comes around, I love to bake fresh breads, cakes...anything. I have visions of myself as a grown up, (I know, I know, I'm already "up" but please, let's be honest,  I'm by no means an "adult") hosting amazingly delicious brunches. This year I decided that I would deliver my treats before Sunday dinner so people could enjoy them with coffee over the weekend. I got this recipe for Blueberry-Orange Walnut Bread from A Cozy Kitchen. I used lemon zest instead of orange zest, (it's what I had in my kitchen and thought it would give the bread a fresher taste) and the bonus is that you get two breads from this recipe so you have double the sentimental gifts! One loaf is going to my grandparents, the other to my boyfriend's family. It's not the healthiest thing I've ever made, but it's a nice holiday treat.
